R.J. appears and chimes in that his mom is meant to be with his Ridge. The three speculate about what Brooke will do. Wyatt and Katie take a break from their romantic evening to divulge to each other the latest gossip from their respective families. Bill makes a passionate plea to Brooke for her to forgive him for his misgivings. Fighting tears, Brooke argues that Bill claimed to have been a better man because of her, but he is the same man that had Ridge thrown out of a helicopter in Dubai. She loves Bill, but a part of his character frightens her and she cannot live on with it. Suddenly, Brooke removes her wedding ring, hands it over to Bill and asks him to leave.
