In spite of the upsetting diagnosis, Zende is confident that he and Nicole will prove the doctor wrong. He encourages his wife to get a second medical opinion before worrying too much. Pam and Charlie walk in on the Avants and mention that they must be thrilled that another grandchild might be on the way soon as Zende and Nicole want to start a family.
