She remembers all the horrible experiences she has had, and then encounters a familiar face. Quinn (Lynne Newton), now in a 1940's gown and hairstyle, is somehow, mysteriously, there as well. She explains she is looking out for Olivia, and has only to be true to herself and all will be right. Olivia then encounters "Davey" Haze (David Bartlett), owner of the Cicada Club. Mr. Haze offers a proposal for Olivia to headline at the club in exchange for the handling of the gambling debt of Olivia's husband.
