It follows NATHANIAL WISEMAN, a burned out high school Special Ed teacher and his unruly students (the klepto, the adult child, the gangbanger, the stoner) - As they try to graduate, develop normal relationships, and survive locker jams, school assemblies, terrible smells, early pregnancies, fist fights, spelling tests, over-active parents, and fashion class.
