In order to ...See more"Passengers" shows the moves of a country where more than half of its adult inhabitants does not live where they were born. In the present Brazil, the adventure of migrating is not one way anymore: it's a constant come and go. In order to describe these moves, the crew, along with 34 passengers, got on a bus that goes from São Paulo to Pedro II, a city in the Brazilian state of Piauí. It was a three day trip, 3.200 kilometers long. Before getting to Piauí, the bus goes through the states of São Paulo, Goiás, Mato Grosso, Tocantins and Maranhão. Along the way, the film collects life stories of the passengers. Through them, it outlines the image of nowadays migrants - their motivations, conquers, challenges and their strategies to survive the dream.
