Steve tips Matt off to a future dinner invitation from Carolee, but warns him that he and Maggie shouldn't mention Dan Allison around Mona. Mona blanches when Billy asks if he should call her "Grandmother" as he does Emma. She requests that he refer to her by name since she's much younger than Emma. Later, Billy accidentally lets it slip that Dan was actually his uncle and was mean to Carolee and Steve. Steve suggests that Mona try not to show favoritism for Erich over Stephanie. Matt speaks with Nick about the trouble between him and Althea, offering the same advice that he gave to Althea: set a time limit for staying with John and then leave regardless of his condition. Nick counters that he's right about John's duplicity. He knows that John has regained sensation in his legs and has been practicing walking behind locked doors.
