He is soon jealous of his ex-wife and her new lover Eddie who, in addition to providing her with a healthy sex life, seems to know everybody. Adam is also upset that Angela seems happy to stay in Singapore with her job whilst Pete is shocked to discover that Harry has died. He does however act as peace-maker between Jenny and her sister Sheila over care of their mother, who has had a fall and at Harry's will reading there is a pleasant surprise for the Giffords.
