Maggie's mood is elevated by not having any dementia symptoms for 24 hours. Althea shares with Edna the problem she's having with John, who is upset over her being with Nick at Carolee's house, but Edna fails to understand why Nick's presence bothered John. Toni arrives home from New York and cries to Martha about her experience there. A confused Martha tries to understand what Toni means when she says that Mike might be able to forgive her, but she can't forgive herself. Drifting off to sleep, Maggie has another vision of Frank, who says that she can't get rid of him because he's the only person who'll tell her the truth.
