Gov CLEARWATER and spokesman KARL BERNAYS launch the NATIONAL DEFENCE ALLIANCE to bring US energy under government control. CHERRY meets with her boss KELVIN COLLINS with evidence of a link between BOAKES and THE LEAGUE OF BRITAIN, a movement targeting alternative energy groups. LENNOX and KARA are finally rescued and with PARKER RYAN discover the subsidence was caused by a series of bombs detonated by agents provocateurs determined to bring LEEWAY down. ANDREWS is under more pressure when LORD BURRELL visits his mansion with a business proposition which soon becomes a threat. MALLIANOV seeks out SIR ANTHONY BROWNE and - as the man most likely to make the research universally available- gives him the CADARCHE code. MALLIANOV, however, fears for his life and RANSOM takes him to a safe house where they are hunted down by the GIP. Sacked from his job COLLINS is found in his garage by his daughter.
