Althea questions ...See moreCarolee arrives at Steve's apartment, where she recounts Dan's theory that they lied about Steve being the baby's father so that they could get rid of Dan more easily. Steve cautions Carolee that she's in serious danger. Althea questions Matt's decision to drop the lithium project, and he assures her that he did it because of Nick's lack of objectivity rather than to punish him for what happened to Mike. An upset Toni tells Martha everything she learned from Dan and admits that the bottom has dropped out of her world since Paolo knew the truth about her mother but lied. Steve proposes that Dan could be clinically insane and might not stop with just slapping Carolee, since he previously suggested Steve would lose his hold over Carolee should she lose the baby. When Carolee reminds him that Dan will go to the hospital board in an effort to destroy Steve's career, Steve decides that he'll resign before Dan can make a move. Written by Skip Eastport See less
