When Nick rejects Cathy's advances in the lab, she wonders if he didn't take things as seriously as she did and wonders if he's going to ask her out again after last night. Hank can't believe that the lithium project has been canceled since Nick gives 180% to everything. When Mike questions him about the reasons the project was dropped, Nick greatly minimizes the situation, insisting he has other things to think about. To prove his point, he impulsively phones Cathy to take her to lunch since they missed dinner last night. John urges Althea to stop making herself a part of the problem between Matt and Nick, but she counters that she is a part because she failed to tell Nick the truth about her relationship with John, consequently instigating competition between them. Emma confides in Steve her fear of Dan then reveals that Dan hit Carolee. Steve instructs Emma to have Carolee leave the house before Dan gets home and go to the safety of his apartment. When Emma isn't sure can do it, Steve warns her that Dan is insane, and Carolee is in far more danger than she realizes. Written by Skip Eastport See less
