Matt realizes that Nick doesn't know what to do about a drug he synthesized and demands that he get it out of Mike's bloodstream before it kills him. John grouses to Althea, blaming Nick for being at fault for Mike nearly falling to his death. Nick reads Mike's blood work, which doesn't look good. Matt admits to Maggie that they're not sure how to flush the drug from Mike's system since it's experimental. Matt wonders if the conversation he had on the roof with Mike will be the last one they ever have. As Mike loses consciousness, Nick tries to slap him awake but fails. Toni confesses everything to Martha, who tries to make a guilty Toni realize that she saved Mike. Matt and Nick attempt to rouse Mike, but he lapses into a coma.
