Nick brings Althea a bouquet of spring flowers, but she continues to lash out at him for forgetting the anniversary of Buddy's death and continuing the discussion about John when it should be closed. Carolee reveals to Steve that she didn't move out of the Allison home, though she refuses to admit that Dan blackmailed her into staying. John shows Althea his divorce papers from Jessica. John proposes to Althea again, then realizes that she hasn't told him that she loves him. Althea admits that she's altar-shy from two failed marriages. Carolee overhears Dan reminding Billy of what a perfect example of motherhood Tammy was. Later, Dan won't allow Carolee to help Billy with one of his model planes, arguing that he intends to lessen the bonds between the two instead of strengthening them.
