Wanda and her husband Steve operate a vibrant business that support and help their customers and is a gathering spot for friends and family, alike. This safe haven is threatened when a local politician seeks to level the landmark in the name of progress. She is intent on bringing in a megastore that will generate jobs and revenue but to do so she will have to wipe out Wanda's and every other mom and pop store in its wake. It is only when everyone joins together do they realize what community really means to them and that progress might not be what it seems. Wanda's Place is a feel good comedy that celebrates the value of tradition, friendship and the knowledge that sometimes folks are not just your neighbors but your family.
