Emma advises Dan that Carolee agreed to marry him in a moment of impetuous anger at Steve and hopes that Dan will be patient enough to give Carolee time to grow to love him completely. Matt tells Maggie that Althea has agreed to work with Nick on Dr. Geller's case. Maggie visits Carolee with well wishes for her wedding. Carolee rejects Maggie's offer to throw her a bridal shower. Dan's arrival makes Maggie uncomfortable when he and Carolee contradict one another about their vision of the ceremony. After Maggie leaves, Carolee hedges settling on a wedding date and stalls going to look at rings with Dan.
