While searching for a way to cure his wife's cancer, he discovers that a part of human DNA can retain memories of life from day to day. When his wife finally succumbs to her illness, he vows to find a way to launch her DNA, along with his, so that the two can orbit the sun with the hope of one day being reconstituted as the loving couple they were before she died. That's just the beginning of the story. When the federal government enacts a law that all private scientific research is developed as "property of the people" it becomes clear that the President of the United States is more interested in securing her position and increasing it's ability to wield power. What better way than to create a private army of reconstituted soldiers. But, she must secure Dr. Stephenson's preservation technique before he can establish it on his own and hide the secret forever. See less
