Together with "Omma" Gisela, their closest confidante, the young couple moves from the Ruhr area to Munich. While he earns money as a well-paid trade fair builder, she hopes to have offspring soon. The well-ordered molecules of their picture book marriage are thrown into chaos by a chance acquaintance. The reason for this is Serge, who runs a creperie in the trendy district. He flirts with Jackie in an outrageously sexy way. The easy-going Breton has something daring that her "man for life" lacks. Martin doesn't initially notice how much her hormones are surging, as she travels a lot with her new job. He is absolutely sure of his wife anyway and confidently becomes friends with Serge. At a lively dinner for three, the couple learns more about the Frenchman's "savoir-vivre".
