Georg resents Julia became chief of the Schladming institute as lover of regional councilman Tom Reitlechner. As they fight, Georg slips and falls deep. Julia asks help from Tom, who fears rather his wife might find out as Georg's cellphone contains a revealing text message, so they set out for the fall site. Georg's high-pregnant girl-friend Sandra worries and calls the rescue team. Markus sets out, but his nurse Katharina gets wounded falling in the same crevasse as Georg.
