Later, Nick drowns his sorrows at a bar and pours his guts out to the bartender. Steve offers to drive Althea home. Nick's bartender encourages him to be the man of the house and become aggressive with Althea. Back at the Bellini apartment, Althea confesses to Steve that the thought of making love with Nick repulses her.
