She doesn't know how she got there. Then she realises she's not alone. There's someone else in the ditch with her - a young woman suffering from a head injury, a nasty one. What would you do in that circumstance? You'd call an ambulance, maybe the police. You'd try to get help. But what if you couldn't call for help? What if you didn't want anyone to know where you were? This is the dilemma that faces Donna, a pregnant woman on the run from her violent husband. As she slowly recollects the events which left her stranded in a ditch with a wounded stranger, Donna is forced to remember how she was presented with a series of choices - and always seemed to choose wrong... Unfolding over nine tense minutes, The Ditch is a gripping and troubling film in which a woman loses sight of her moral compass, and is confronted with the horrifying consequences of her own mistakes.
