A novel egg and spoon race is won by Miss Ray Regan. Chattanooga, Tenn: Fifteen thousand veterans of the Civil War attend the G.A.R. encampment in this city. Great Falls, Mont: The Fort Peck Indian Reservation is cut into 8,500 homesteads and these are to be allotted to a corresponding number of citizens selected from among 35,000 applicants by lottery.
