Paige tells JJ that she still loves him and understands that he needs his space. Maggie is happy to see Melanie has returned to town. Melanie announces she is moving back for good. Maggie is excited but wonders why Melanie is suddenly back. Melanie tries to convince Maggie that everything just happened to come together to allow her to come home. Maggie tells Melanie that Chad is also back in town. Daniel and Nicole head back to his apartment where they agree they should remain just friends. Nicole ends up spilling her drink on herself and Daniel offers to let her use his shower while he heads out. Later, Melanie shows up at Daniel's and Nicole answer the door wearing just her towel. Roman and Marlena surprise Eric with some house warming gifts. Sonny is not happy the Chad did not inform him about being named co-CEO. Chad thinks that Victor found out and told Sonny but Sonny tells Chad that it was him who confirmed his suspicions. Chad reveals that he has paperwork giving Sonny more control over the clubs.
