Max and Wrigley are new to PAW City. The move leaves them frightened and lonely. Max decides to turn the adventure into a story and sits down at his computer to type all the details. However after a short work period he wants to take a walk. He and Wrigley go for a stroll down the street where they notice leaves are not all identical, each has its own shape and character. On their walk they meet Maverick, a lonesome horse who enjoys playing the guitar. Their shared love of music and lack of friends creates an instant connection. Max and Wrigley are eager to return to socialize and play music with Maverick. Continuing on into town they meet Foxy, a skillful keyboard player as well as Chloe, a diva-ish singer. It becomes clear to Max that they should start a band. Wrigley agrees. Chloe and Foxy are both very excited about the possibility and agree to meet for practice that night at Maverick's barn. During practice we discover what instruments everyone plays. Frankie, a bird, flies in and wants to join in. He plays percussion instruments. Max suggests they write an original song for the band since he's a writer. However, there is disagreement between Chloe and Foxy over who should sing lead vocals for the first song. As the argument escalates the band, decides to call it a night and resume practice the next day. Once Max and Wrigley return home, Wrigley immediately goes to bed. Max stays up for a bit worried about how to resolve the disagreement between Foxy and Chloe. The following morning Max and Wrigley set off for practice. They talk about what to do about the band's issue as well as the fact that they still need a name for the band. Along the way Frankie flies by and stops, along with his twin sister, Sydney. Max and Wrigley have trouble telling the two birds apart as they are nearly identical and seem to finish each other's sentences. They explain that they simply use their strengths and work together because it makes them better and stronger working as a team. Max has an idea. He rushes off to the barn eager to resolve the issue. Once inside he explains that everyone has a talent which makes them special and that when we all use those talents we create a better team and in this case, a better band. They agree that Chloe should sing because no one can play the keyboard like Chloe and her wonderful skills actually help Chloe sing better. They also decide on a name after Frankie brings a box of biscuits to share, "The Biscuit Band(TM)". Wrigley suggests their song should be about making friends since that's what this adventure of coming together as a band was all about. The group happily practices and performs the song. Afterwards they complement each other and return home. Max reflects on the day noting that at first he and Wrigley were scared of moving, but in the end they realized that sometimes great things come out of scary situations... like friends.
