While looking for a rest stop the radio warns him of a killer who is stalking the very highway he is traveling on and warns of one man, who has already been brutally stabbed to death by the killer. At the rest stop he meets Scott Jacobs who's car has broken down while he is on the way to a nearby town where his wife is in labor and the doctors are getting ready to induce.
