Their lease is renewed but Matt still feels awkward because they only got the house when Meg claimed he was a wounded Afghanistan war hero and Andrew the lettings officer wants him to talk to his war video game chums. Everybody attends Iain's engagement party to Kate, which goes fairly smoothly despite Kate's unpleasant father, Meg being mistaken for Iain's fiancée and Matt having to talk himself out of a tight corner when a genuine soldier who fought in Afghanistan shows up.
