Iain is proposing to Kate, much to Matt's relief though Meg still has some concerns that it might not be the right thing. Whilst Ryan takes his driving test for the fourth time Meg's less than discreet colleague Martin has a date with Paula, causing Meg to worry as to what revelations the couple may make about her. For Sam all is going well as he strikes a deal with Gary Deansfield, the local condiments king, to supply Deansfield chutney to the information centre, in exchange for a share of the profits of course.
