But when police start probing Lynn's story, their search for clues leads them to a grisly and unexpected truth. Across the country, New Jersey nurse, Melanie McGuire and her husband Bill, have worked hard and are finally buying their dream house. Despite the new home, there is tension in the marriage and following a nasty argument, Bill packs up, leaves, and disappears without a trace.
