Angry at first, Victoria realizes that her mother used the money as a means of getting her career started. Victoria begs Neil not to tell Victor, fearing that the news will destroy the progress Victor and Nikki have made. Ryan suggests to give Victoria 24 hours to talk to Nikki first. Nikki and Victor have an evening rendezvous at the Ranch. Sharon and Cassie interrupt and they all celebrate Cassie's clean bill of health. Later, Sharon runs into Victoria and tells her how close her parents have become again. Nick is perplexed when Carter blocks his entrance to his apartment. Carter explains that his girlfriend is not yet single and therefore does not want to be revealed. Tricia escapes through the fire escape and heads home. She comes close to confess her infidelity to Ryan but ultimately stops. A happy Brad runs into Diane at Gina's who admits that she has regrets of getting pregnant behind Victor's back. Christine and Paul argue. Paul is furious that not only is Christine sabotaging his wish for children, but now she also tries to cut Mary from their lives. Christine tries to make Paul understand that she thinks his mother is partly responsible for he tensions between them.
