Although they were at peace for ages, the two have been at war for the past five years until they discover that a demon named Kaze A'aze started the war all along. In the interest of her kingdom, the queen of Kanavan sends a group of knights she dubbed the Kanavan Trackers led by Elscud Sieghart. Following the disappearance of the group, Serdin and Kanavan band together to sire the creation of the Grand Chase, composed of Arme Glenstid, a magician from Serdin, Elesis Sieghart, a knight from Kanavan, and Lire Eryuell, an elven archer from the nearby island of Eryuell.
