One day, at a playground, his good friend Jenessa reveals to him that she has a crush on him. They eventually end up together, and as Ace and Jenessa's new relationship takes shape, his dreams about his ex girlfriend grow more disturbing and angry, often with her harming Jenessa. In one dream, Lexie reveals to Ace that she is a dream spirit, and she has the ability to manipulate his dreams to her will.
