John, however, can not leave out of the blue because Alexandra is literally kept from her and then leave if their relationship would not know where to go. She has all the money she wants (unlike John) and in fact control the life of her boyfriend. At the suggestion of Andy, John's best friend, the protagonist tries to physically eliminate his girlfriend, so as to have a kind of 'inheritance' and then freedom deciding to invest all his savings by hiring a beautiful killer.
