Not a fan of actual 'work', Michael has created a sketch comedy idea that he thinks will be the next online video sensation, and which he strongly believes will swiftly make up for his monetary shortfall. In order to execute his idea, he tries to enlist Troy's help. During Michael's pitch, Michael inadvertently finds out that Troy has created a profile on a local online dating site and immediately and mercilessly ridicules Troy for resorting to such "low-brow" methods, and adds that he has many friends that would be suitable for Troy. Michael uses this opportunity to once again pitch the notion that coming to one of his yoga classes would be a great way for Troy to meet women. However, the only thing that turns Troy off more than the thought of yoga itself, is the mental image of a sweaty shirtless yoga guy in front of him wearing tiny, tiny shorts, and he graciously declines Micheal's offer. Meet Chad. A very handsome single dad, with a mission to take the crown as Vancouver's #1 Real Estate sales agent (or at least break the top 100). He is charismatic, optimistic, and will do whatever it takes to close that sale. Chad is also aware that his time is no longer his own - as his "Baby Girl" grows, he sees that she will need more and more of his resources and time. Chad enjoys his status and connections in the community, and uses every new meeting as an opportunity to network. What he lacks in tact and subtlety, he makes up for in bravado and sheer force of will. Chad's a little stressed, as his real estate career hasn't quite taken off as he had hoped. It's been a hard struggle, but he finally has his first big listing. Adding to Chad's stress level is the fact that Fransisco, the new office golden boy, has been breathing down Chad's neck trying to 'obtain' his listings. Apparently, Michael can pitch ice cubes to an Eskimo, as Troy takes the bate and the boys go ahead and shoot the "Caveman Muscle Car" video, and publish it online. Hearing about the many who have made thousands on social video sites, Michael's convinced that it could be his quick financial salvation, but quickly becomes disgruntled when he finds out that it's not that simple. Meet Sheri. Sheri is our very own Hermione Granger- she's smart, saucy, and loves to get her nose up in everybody's business. A daily mediator and avid yoga practitioner, Sheri feels compelled to give her wisdom to those around her, whether it's needed or not. She is outgoing, confident, and extremely competitive, and longs for the day when she can find a Vancouver man truly able to keep up with her. After a night on the town, the gang set up a little online dating contest that will (hopefully) jump-start their romantic prospects. Sheri, Chad, and Troy collectively decided to excluded Michael, because of one of the rules of the contest is that the relationship must be monogamous. When Michael finds out about the contest, he channels his inner eight-year-old, has a good pout, and professes he can maintain a monogamous relationship for thirty days. Let the games begin.
