In fact, she has already invited a representative of the prestigious Oxham Conservatory of Fine Arts to attend a performance. Upon returning from Winter Break, she learns that budgetary cutbacks have eliminated Drama altogether. She decides to produce her own musical in secret, Dusk, a no-budget hybrid of Twilight with Rent.
