Meanwhile, some other boys deliver a stolen car to a garage and return to the rink, whisking the girls away to a Disco. Dejected that the girls went for more mature prospects with a car; the three boys get a taxi driver to buy them some liquor, then plot to steal a car. Drinking and cruising the main street in the hot car, the boys stop off at a pizza parlor and pick up a girl whose reluctant friend warns her not to join them. The boy who's driving decides they should try to find the Disco that the other kids went to, and they meet up with the girls and the older car thieves at a stoplight. A drag race ensues to the McDonald's that ends up in a horrifying accident. This after school special dramatizes teenage pride, alcohol and cars. Written by Samb Hicks See less
