Chief Michael Kaiser leads an investigation against the house owner, Sonja Pellmann, and other tenants: self-published author Wolrad Sprengle and shy single young mother Rosemarie Sörensen, none admits any knowledge. Rico Sander finds previous tenant Andreas Behle only pretended to move to the US, but his blood doesn't fit the unidentified victim. Jan Arnaud finds a rheumatism medication wrapping.
