Her best bet is Mick's friend Danny, a prosecution witness with whom she had a fling and who suggests that if this comes out in court it may discredit him,rather than change his story.Ian prevents Gavin from converting but Harriet is concerned her son is selling the presents he asks her to bring in in order to buy friends. Harriet and Ian have a romantic dinner with him hinting of marriage. Francesca starts the car cleaning business with Margaret,a crooked accountant who helps her set up a series of bank accounts in false names.She is still pursued by DCI Fontaine over the death of Pete,the man she saw get shot. Brendan tells Aisling he has begun a Practical Parenting course but she is unimpressed. She is befriended by Francesca's drug-dealing son Matt,with whom she has sex despite having a boyfriend.
