The focus and inspiration is on true murder cases. Comprised of two fifty-minute episodes the first one focuses on a novelist for the magazine. She became famous for her writing while still at university. She has only one successful work under her belt. She is the daughter of a famous novelist. After her mother's death she was busy working with her mother's output. She is disappointed, but accepts a job offer from the magazine. The second episode revolves around another writer who takes a case to the editor. The case involved multiple victims in the Tokyo area.
