Istanbul commissioner Mehmet Özakin, who grudgingly hosts German exchange student Rico from his wife's faculty, however soon suspects an unrelated motive after another killing, having found in both cases a newspaper clipping referring to a German tourist's hit and run death, for which a probably innocent man went to jail and committed suicide there.
