This short film tells the compelling story of two Nepali girls who set out to defy the odds and become the first in their families to attend higher secondary school. Despite societal pressures, these remarkable girls show their determination and desire to reach their highest potential. Child marriage is one burden the girls must face. UNICEF estimates that 51% of children in Nepal face early childhood marriage, 60% are married by age 18.
