James Stevens won his case, (before all white jury), and was awarded 18.4 million dollars, in the same Simi Valley courtroom that exonerated the white policemen who beat Rodney King. He lost his family(wife of 26 years,10 year old son, 2 year old daughter) in the process; but has now formed a foundation, 'Justice Inc' that assists individuals and families to navigate the judicial process while helping to keep their families intact.
