Her room in the flat-share is taken by Sadie, who fails an interview to write for Minus 21 magazine but later cops off with its editor Lauren, despite Lauren being spoken for. Lexy also enjoys noisy sex with colleague Bea, though she too has a wife. Tess invites Ed to go drinking with her stage crowd and, whilst Tess has platonic fun with the kindly Hugh, Ed goes home with Nina.
