He and Bear are lowered from a helicopter into a frozen wilderness in Iceland. There, Bear lowers Jake into an ice hole, then has him explore an ice cave and investigate a rotting carcass. Back up top Jake gets to eat a worm, wade across a glacier fed river, dig out a snow shelter by hand and crawl cross a gorge on a rope.
