With no other place to go, he goes straight to his Uncle Mario's home, wherein he also discloses the maltreatment his mother does to him. After hearing the said revelation, Mario confronts his sister who, unfortunately, falls short on listening to his argument. Upon Boy George's decision to return home, Adela welcomes him with a cold treatment. On the other end, people in Bagong Pag-asa are starting to doubt whether or not the golden image of the Sto. Niño is miraculous, as previously claimed. And since this issue is starting to raise eye brows, plus the critical issue regarding the image's security, the priests in the monastery decide to let the arch bishops to take custody of it.
