But as the day progresses things become increasingly nightmarish--doors slammed in her face, pet turtles on the loose, a fisherman spouting existentialism and an old lady who accuses Allie of a ridiculous crime. Griffin, a young boy, is the only one willing to help her. Alice Meets Godot, a modern fable, is the story of a grown-up Alice who struggles as she explores a 'wonderland' where suspicion and cynicism reign.
