College freshman Marcus Engel was visiting his hometown for the weekend when the unthinkable happened: A drunk driver traveling far too fast ran a red light and collided with a car full of teenagers. Marcus was thrown from the car; every bone in his face was crushed and he was rendered completely, irreversibly blind. He endured two years of surgeries, rehab, and training to achieve a singular goal: return to college and reclaim his life. But before he can return to campus he must first complete "The Drop." The 'graduation requirement' from the School for the Blind requires Marcus to successfully find his way back to the center after being dropped off in a completely-unknown location 25 miles away, and he isn't allowed to ask questions. "The Drop" follows the true journey of Marcus Engel from losing the life he had known to accepting a new life and accepting the truth within him. Based on the book, "After This...
