He is so loyal to his boss Federico (Tirso Cruz III) that he tolerates the fact that his boss is cheating on his wife, Chona (Rio Locsin). In return, Bert is generously rewarded for his late night work just so Federico can meet with his mistress. Later on however, he starts to feel guilty because he sees how Chona suffers in silence because of her husband's coldness.
