The 22-year-old rushes to an elderly friend from the enlightened and rebellious group of Lubeck Ibsen Club. With borrowed money, they drive to Munich in order to go to art college. Her "leap to freedom" to the artist's life also reflects the desire to create her own new identity. She calls herself Franziska Reventlow.
