But what she wasn't expecting is an obsession with soccer, Mexican food, boleros and the thrill of Western wear. When Pei-Fen begins to suffer terrifying nightmares of dragging a dead body through the forest, she begins to suspect that she was given more than just a heart. She was also given the memories of the donor. As she obsessively tracks down the identity of the donor, she discovers a terrible secret: she was given the heart of a murderer.
