Dr. Corey tells May he'll create a fake malady for her describe when her friends ask her how she's feeling. Lona is Dr. Corey's next visitor and in an "oral letter' expresses her fear that her bookstore might be failing and offers to become Dr. Corey's wife. Dr. Corey replies to Lona's oral letter with one of his own and tells Lona he loves her and knows that they'll be married some day, but only when he's not the fall back plan for her business worries. Mitch confronts Sue after she stood him up for a date and she criticizes him for spending money on his clothes and time to groom properly.
