The Germans search the farm and arrest both men. Hiding, Tom finds out they were betrayed by Dries, who also agrees to impersonate a resistance member to trick the approaching Canadian troops into a marsh trap. Tom, Snuf and Myriam make a map and warn the Canadians. Haaksma is there, so they are believed and Tom is given a uniform to partake in the town's liberation.
